Overview

In 2015, Match MG was tasked with creating the next large summer campaign for M&M’s Chocolate in Canada. This campaign would be called Chase M Down. Spanning through in-store, digital, and social, users could put themselves in a custom made video filmed specifically for the program. Partnering with Fiat Automotive, the video would involve a chase scene between the user and the iconic M&M’s.

Cut to 2016, and Chase M Down is being refreshed for a second year due to the success of its first year. This year however, would focus specifically on in-store advertising. I was asked by Match to refresh the outdated look and create a more dynamic and bold creative look that would span across all in-store elements.

The visual style I wanted to bring to the table for 2016 refresh was a dynamic scene that would incorporate the characters & contest messaging in a bold way. Keeping true to the brand characters, I had them leading in the forefront to help illustrate the overall scene of the “chase”.
